who are pomaks?

    The true origin of tne pomak people is not clear.  They have adopted religion of Islam during the Ottoman Empire period. Pomak people was living in the Ottaman Empire at the Rhodop region and around Lovets.
    But after 1877-1878 Ottoman-Russian  1912-1912 balkan wars two third of Pomaks migrated to Turkey.

Erkan this is well known, but what is your opinion about origin of pomaks?

Born some 15  century historicdocuments , thanks to the Ottomans became Muslim in Balkans. My father is a pomak and was born in Kırklareli around Trakya...Pomak society is a closed culture because

I said that this is well known because it is one of the popular theories, but it is only a theory. The truth is out there...
